Fundraising for Zeebrugge Remembrance

About the Zeebrugge Raid
The Zeebrugge Raid of 23 April 1918 is a defining chapter in Royal Navy and Royal Marines history. Every year, veterans, serving personnel, and supporters travel to Zeebrugge to honour those who took part and those who gave their lives.

Why We Fundraise
For many veterans — especially those on limited incomes or living with service‑related injuries — the cost of travel, accommodation, and meals can be a barrier to attending this important act of remembrance.
Our Branch has established a dedicated Zeebrugge Fundraising Subcommittee to:
-
Subsidise travel and accommodation for veterans;
-
Ensure that financial hardship never prevents attendance.

Sponsor Recognition & Benefits
We are grateful for any support. In recognition of your contribution, we can:
-
Acknowledge your organisation in RMA CoL communications and event materials;
-
Provide a post‑event report with photos showing the impact of your support;
-
Explore joint publicity or staff engagement opportunities (as agreed).
