A WORD FROM THE CHAIR
Once again another successful branch meeting was held in the reserved bar lounge area of the UJC in November.
We had a very good branch Corps birthday service in St Peter Ad Vincula Chapel at the Tower of London. Once again our grateful thanks to both Cannon Roger Hall MBE and Chief Yeoman Warder Rob Fuller, for looking after us so well.
Later in November x25 members and guests attended the Service of Remembrance at St Pauls Cathedral; please read Stephen Gilkes’s write up further in the newsletter.
RMA Portsmouth have kindly invited our branch to take part in the annual Operation Frankton service at the RM Memorial Gardens at Eastney on Sunday 10th December starting at 10.30am. Please note refreshments will be served in the ‘Sirloin of Beef’ public house, in Highland Road afterwards. The branch no longer uses the club in Dunn Close!
