RMA City of London Members caught swimming in the Serpentine Lido, Hyde Park !

We were pleased to welcome Gert Stevens to our last meeting. Gert, who hails from Zeebrugge, is a friend of John Long. A big thank you to Gordon Burrett for again providing light refreshments.

Some members of the branch supported Tim Crossin, aka ‘The Cold Dip Commando’, at the Serpentine Lido in Hyde Park where he continued his round the UK fundraising tour in aid of Rock2Recover, Lymphoma Action and the Royal Marines Charity - cold dipping in the sea wearing just his speedos! A big thank you to our own Hadyn Turner, who has been a member of the Serpentine Swimming Club for over thirty years and who kindly arranged for the club’s changing rooms to be available.

The Mountbatten Festival of Music will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on the 10th and 11th March to which the branch has invited a number of its own corporate sponsors as a thank you for their financial support, to the branch.
