Branch committee meeting Thursday, the 9th of October.
NEW MEMBERS/GUESTS.
There were no new members or guests joining us this month, but our doors remain open and welcoming to all who share in the Royal Marines spirit.
RECENT EVENTS.
Unfortunately, our planned AGM event in September had to be cancelled due to the London tube strike. While this was disappointing, I am pleased to note the continued enthusiasm of our members and the strong interest in our upcoming calendar of activities, in reconvening at our October meeting.
Friday, 19th of September - Branch Summer BBQ
The Royal Marines Association City of London branch marked the end of summer with a superb evening BBQ on Friday 19th September at HMS President. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Thames and Tower Bridge, it was a memorable gathering that celebrated Corps spirit, camaraderie, and the strength of the branch community.

Thursday, 25th of September - US Embassy Beer Bash/Pizza & Quiz Night
What a great time we had at the US Embassy last Thursday. Following a “summer recess” the Quiz Night was eagerly anticipated by US Embassy regular ‘Quiz’ers’ and their guests and our thanks must go to Lisa Dossey for not only being the ‘perfect host’ and making us feel very welcome, but also generously ensuring we had a variety of pizzas delivered to our team table before we even started!!
